KlubFunder is a platform that enables sports clubs and schools to take payments online, save money and reduce administration. Most importantly its FREE to use, there are no set-up fees and KlubFunder charges no commission.
So where did it start? KlubFunder was developed by a Belfast based software company called Stiona Software. The three directors of Stiona Software are all heavily embroiled in sport. One of the directors was approached by his local club for advice on how they could improve their online fundraising. The club recognised the trend that more and more people were going online via their mobile phones, tablets and other devices, so they were keen to extend their fundraising activities online. They also wanted to make it easier for club members no longer living in the local area to continue to engage with and support the club. The request was brought back to the team at Stiona and they put their heads together and quickly realised that there was an opportunity to create a platform that would be of benefit to all clubs and organisations and so KlubFunder was born. #MakingADifference
